Easter Orders

POULTRY

TURKEYS

We will be offering free run organically raised fresh turkeys.

Sizes start at 12-14 lbs and increase in 2 lb intervals. Our past experience is that the 12-14 size tends more to the 13-14 size.

We also have a supply of frozen turkeys from Christmas that we are offering at a 20% discount.

We also will have boneless skin-on turkey breasts weighing about 5 lbs each. They come flat; but can be easily rolled & tied for a nice small roast

 

CAPON SIZED HEAVY ROASTING HENS.

These heavy hens are replacing the traditional Capon as the caponising methods have led to cruelty to animal charges and the discontinuation of the practice in many jurisdictions.

These hen birds are super tasty and moist; they weigh 6-7 lbs

 

HAMS & PORK

We will be featuring the old style skin-on, bone-in, smoked hams; they start at about 6 lbs and range up to 18 lbs. We have some frozen at a 20% discount. We will also have Black Forest cooked boneless hams available in quarters, halves and whole hams. A whole ham weighs 9-10 lbs.

A crown roast of pork is an Easter favourite and available as well as other pork roasts.

 

BEEF

A fresh AAA Black Angus Prime Rib roast is the ultimate feast. We will preorder a size to suit you and have it fresh and ready for pick up on the Thursday or Saturday before Easter. We can also special order any other cut of AAA   Black Angus beef.

 

FISH AND SEAFOOD

We will be bringing in our usual assortment of fresh fish on Thursday March 28th –just before Easter. That will include wild caught frozen. shrimp, Cdn. Lobster tails and Bay Scallops. As a special Easter treat we are taking pre-orders for Black Cod, Whole Atlantic salmon and whole Atlantic salmon filets.
